Straight answers about AI visibility work.
Scope, evidence, timing, providers, implementation and what Deep Domain will not promise.
What is AI visibility?
AI visibility is how accurately and consistently a business appears when tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI features answer relevant customer questions. It includes mentions, recommendations, cited sources and factual accuracy.
Is GEO different from SEO?
GEO—generative engine optimisation—builds on ordinary SEO. A site still needs to be crawlable, indexable, useful and trustworthy. GEO adds focused measurement of AI answers, cited sources, entity facts and the content structures answer systems retrieve.
What does the £750 audit test?
The standard audit tests six buyer-style questions twice across OpenAI and Anthropic, producing 24 web-grounded responses. It also reviews competitors, cited sources, initial HTML, index signals, metadata, schema, canonical business facts, content architecture and third-party consistency.
What is the founding-client price?
The standard audit price is £750. For the next small number of early customers, Deep Domain offers a £495 founding-client price in exchange for feedback and permission to request a testimonial or anonymised case study. A positive testimonial is not required, and nothing identifiable is published without explicit permission.
Why run each question more than once?
AI answers vary. Repeated runs reveal whether a recommendation recurs or appeared once by chance. The baseline is still a snapshot, but it is more useful than a single manual question.
Can Perplexity or another provider be included?
Yes, where the provider is relevant to the client’s audience or the extra source analysis is worth the expanded scope. It is not added simply to inflate the call count.
Do you guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No. No legitimate provider controls a third-party model’s answers. Deep Domain measures the current position, fixes evidence-based gaps and remeasures; it does not guarantee rankings, citations or recommendations.
Does the audit include website changes?
No. The audit covers diagnosis, evidence, prioritisation and a results call. Implementation, content production, listing corrections, schema changes and monitoring are scoped separately.
What information do you need from the client?
The website, market, products or services, primary location or service area, three to five competitors, the questions customers ask, and a confirmed fact sheet covering names, contacts, leadership, services, prices and real accreditations.
Do you need access to our website for the initial audit?
Usually not. Public pages, public profiles and web-grounded answers can be reviewed without administrative access. Access is discussed only if implementation is commissioned.
How long until changes affect AI answers?
Technical changes can be live immediately, but indexes and third-party sources take time to update. A first remeasurement window of roughly 4–8 weeks is usually more meaningful than checking the next day.
What happens to the original results?
They are retained as a dated baseline. New runs are saved separately so movement can be compared without overwriting the evidence trail.
Will AI write all of our content?
No. AI can accelerate extraction, drafting and formatting, but the client’s real expertise and facts remain the source of truth. Published work is reviewed for accuracy, usefulness and unsupported claims.
Can you publish a case study about our business?
Only with explicit permission. Logo use, quotes, identifiable results and case-study publication are agreed separately. Anonymised findings are not assumed to be permitted.
Who is Deep Domain for?
The primary fit is UK specialist retailers and local or domain-led businesses with real expertise, weak content infrastructure and a willingness to act on the findings.
